Product Description The My Meebas game is a new electronics toy from Mattel that combines compelling, quirky game play with an unbelievable plush surprise on the inside. My Meebas comes in four uniquely colored tubes, each representing a special My Meebas attribute: Intelligence, Love, Friendship, and Happiness. Each game tube has a sliding LCD screen with three game play buttons that allow a girl to see inside the game tube and follow the progression of My Meebas. She helps it grow by playing various games and activities. The more time she spends playing with My Meebas, the faster it grows. Once My Meebas is fully grown, and not a moment before, the game tube will pop open and the soft, plush My Meebas can be taken out. Each My Meebas plush will be the same shape as the fully grown My Meebas on the screen, but the colors and material will only be revealed once the game tubes are opened. Each tube sold separately, subject to availability. Plush toys not sold individually. Colors and decorations may vary.

wooo hooo!!! January 2, 2009 Amy (Michigan USA) I am writing this for my DS who is 8 years old. - it's really hard. sometimes you can complete it in 3 days or 2 days or one day. - I like the My Meebas. I have named the three I have Fluffy, Kario and Twinkle Sprinkles. - I save up my allowance to buy new ones. - I did NOT like it when the battery died and I had to start over. (note from mom: change batteries BEFORE you begin play. if they go while playing you will be back at level one. This can create 'difficulty.' DS is autisticish and we had a major meltdown when we had to begin again. It took him about 8 hours or so of total game time to reach the top level which we spread out over days. I called Mattel and gave them my 'review' on the whole battery thing. if you WANT more game time..then by all means...don't change the battery first! We get ongoing 'value' from the pets...if you are buying for the game...buy something else. If you like to play with little stuffed creatures then this is super.)
My daughter loves these things December 29, 2008 Jacqueline T. Smith (Orlando, FL USA) My daughter had a blast with this toy...for the two days it took it to evolve completely. Now it's lost under her bed and the little stuffed animal thing is nowhere to be found. If it was less expensive I would consider purchasing a few more, because it was cool to watch it evolve on the screen.
My Meeba is Cheepa! December 27, 2008 James F. Conroy (Northeast) We received two of these from Santa and they were much anticipated after all Mattel's marketing. Our youngest daughter figured out the games etc. very quickly. Then the older one joined in, however, by that time the first one had stopped working. Sliding the screen up and down no longer moves the meeba within its environment and you can not navigate through any games. I tried resetting and the problem persists. Our youngest daughter wants to know when we can get her another one and our older daughter is saving hers for a car trip we plan to take -- otherwise she probably would have been able to open this on the first day. I guess I'll have to commit meeba murder to remove the toy from the broken one. Uggh and have to purchase another one for our youngest, but will not recommend this toy. So, I don't think these are worth the money -- we have a couple of Littlest Pet Shop digital pets and they are great. Their play value is huge and they cost less too.
totally awsome December 6, 2008 Mymeebas is one of the coolest toys I've gotten this year. You get to play through seven differant levels and bring your virtual toy to life by playing games and activities. You do not get to pick which Mymeeba you will get which I like because you get that real excited feeling of wich one you're going to get when yours is about to hatch.I played with it almost all day and I got a really cool toy after it hatched.I suggest if you are a person that really loves to play and work on something for a really good cost Mymeebas are perfect for you.
Poor Value November 24, 2008 Doug F (Camp Hill, PA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Girls in the age range that want this toy love to collect "stuff". Mattel is well aware of this, and to this end the toy satisfies as your child anxiously wants to see what they will get. However, the other reviewers are absolutely correct that this toy is an incredibly poor value. My 9 year old hatched the doll within a couple hours. Trust me - the prize is barely worthy of being a Happy Meal toy and the plastic game shell will end up in the recycle bin since it has "limited replay value". For those of you that had to reset the game consider yourselves lucky, you got a couple extra hours of game time out of it!
